Assesment tools available for licensure
Mayo Clinic has developed several Clinical Outcomes Assessment (COA) tools to aid in monitoring patient outcomes. These COAs are available for licensure for the benefit of patient care and research. Any time a COA tool is being used, the user should obtain permission for the intended use of the copyrighted materials from the copyright owner to include industry-sponsored research.
In some cases of academic or non-profit research, Mayo Clinic can provide a royalty-free agreement for the use of copyrighted materials when applicable. When informed of the use of copyrighted materials, it allows for more accurate management for the benefit of the user and the owner of that copyright.
Clinical Outcome Assessment tools available:
- Mayo Score
- COMPASS-31
- PETS
- VFUCH
- Pouchitis
- Mayo Elbow Performance Score
- Mayo Dysphagia Questionnaire

A licensing professional will be in touch with you to advise on the right agreement for your use and applicable quotes for such use.
